I pumped out 250 texts in one day while out in suffield. Manning the ranges and sweet fuck-all to do.

Just kidding. But with all the texting teens are doing, at least we know one part of their anatomy that's getting some exercise.

Point I was trying to make is that it isn't just teens that are texting... I'd be curious to see what the results are for people in every age group.

As someone with a bb with a full keyboard, i text a lot with an average of 30 texts per day.

If the 'kid' can't afford to pay the bill, or the 'adult' is texting when they should be working....
it's just the way it is today. When 'we' were kids, we were accused of some such 'no-good' behaviour!

I think texting is good for some cases. For example, if I need to text someone directions or ask a quick question. Or when I need to talk to someone while in class or whatever. But what annoys me is when friends try to have conversations in text....something that could be done and over with within a 5 min phone call.
Also, I hate short hand text.
Examples:
wht r u dng?
wnt 2 hng out?
i ws her b4.
whn r u cumng ovr?
aw ben u lft, no hug b4 i go 2 bed.
Those are just a few messages in my inbox. I text the way I type.

I love phones
I put about 550 hours of talk time on my new phone since I got it in October. Although, I have a lot of friends that I only get to see every month or so. And the internet is not the same.
