It just seems bizarre to me..... making a law that says you can't wear something that could protect you.

It's not a fashion statement. I've worn one on a couple of occasions when I did some work with the police, and they're bulky and hot. What possible reason would the average citizen need or want to wear one?

Zombies of course!

Was that in the Zombie Survival Guide?

This is such utter nonsense. The government essentially prohibits people from defending themselves from gun toting criminals by the legal use of arms, and now the government wants to make sure that if a criminal shoots at you that you don't have any Kevlar on to stop a bullet.

Canada is insane.

  ..Says the The gun-toting lunatic.

sure was, but it says to stay away from it,

1. hot and heavy
2. protects center mass, zombie attacks usually result in bites in the extremities (arms, legs, neck etc)

best body armor for zombie protection would be chain mail or even better a shark suit. Even with that protection the zombie may break the skin or bone with their bite, but yes no infection would be passed on through the bite...unless there is cross contamination through the armor.

You don't need to worry about me coming after you with a gun.

My mistake.

Page 4, paragraph 3.

But it does indicate wearing it about the head in order to not be shot in the brain.

Me thinks it would still be hot and uncomfortable even if you're dead!
