Btw, there website is http://www.attacktheroots.net/. This isn't the official site of the Black-Clad protesters. They don't have one that I know of, however they visit that site. That's the site that organized the protests.

If you got issues with Black-Clad methods, that's the place to cuss them out. I know I will be doing so.

EyeBrock EyeBrock:
What the (frack) were they doing in the middle of a riot?

Contributing to the riot by their mere presence.

When I was in high school there was a riot on campus and it brought out the fire department and the police with truncheons and tear gas. Plenty of swivelheads who just had to see all the pretty lights and be in the middle of the excitement got themselves beat up and some even got jailed for their morbid curiosity.

Me and my friends, meanwhile, made ourselves scarce and cut school and went home the moment the fracas broke out because we could see it was going to be ugly.

The rest of the jerks got what they deserved because by their mere presence they contributed energy and a kind of mob anonymity to the kids who were determined to be violent.

Same with the 'innocent bystanders' in this case; they contributed energy and anonymity to the violent rioters by their mere presence.

Memo: If a riot breaks out don't hang around waiting to get beat up, get out of there ASAP.

Canada is not, nor has it ever been about tolerating criminal behaviour.

Have you been back to Canada lately Shep? It's all about tolerating and coddling criminals.

BTW, good job EB! [B-o] Any time off after a "fun" weekend?

Thanks. A lot of good work by the lads and lasses.

Just today and I'll take Thursday to celebrate our Country's birthday!

Yea, I didn't get that but like I say, we had a lot of 'Riot tourists' and the media refused to follow any direction and really got in our way while we were just trying to hold the line, under dangerous conditions.

I would think Toronto is gonna be a less friendly place for the media after this.

They really were arse-holes and they sought out the Black Bloc people and their hangers-on to get interviews. It’s obvious who’s side they were on.

It just shows how out of step with actual public opinion our media is these days.

Thanks mate. Well appreciated.

I’ll pass that on to the good people I was there with. It will mean a lot to them.

I think it's some what interesting that the most liberal cities that host these things have the most violence. TO, Van, Seattle...Calgary hosted the G8 and I don't think a single person was even pushed!

Um... you realize majority of those protestors were not from Toronto right? Not even from Canada.
