Canadian
Conservatives cut CBC, Liberals boost funding. I wonder how this non-partisan journalism works...
When you triple the deficit promise immediately and have no time frame for a balanced budget you will have a very difficult time fighting this off next election.
It's the usual, 4 downs and punt for the Liberals I imagine come re-election time. I had some hope for Mr.Trudeau, but fiscal irresponsibility is difficult to overlook. Consider, with changes to NAFTA, the elimination of TPP and a growing distrust by our allies (with good reason), how will Canada provide a fertile environment for business investment (non-taxpayer funded)?
Will he be able to outweigh this economic deception with improved Civil Liberties?

It's time to stop funding Natives and let them stand on their own. Let them make deals with companies for access to natural resources on their land or for pipelines to run through. It's also nice for the Liberals to increase funding to the CBC while cutting funding to the Military.

Why are you so angry?

Yeah throwing money away is nothing to be angry about.
He's changed his name from Trudeau to Trudough.

just like his old man Justin, going to rack up such a deficit that I would bet our national debt will hit $1T after just 4 years of this clown.

$675 million for the CBC, $8 million for counter-terrorism

The CBC better earn their increased funding and spin this.
While I don't have a problem with increased funding for the CBC, it's a disappointing budget overall. Not enough in infrastructure spending, huge deficits over the next five years, and cuts to defence.

Isnt there a way for Canadian's to sack the PM Justine/Premier in the case of Alberta/Ontario thru Impeachment, when they go against the interest of Canada??

Mayor Don Iveson and Premier Rachel Notley want Ottawa to explain why Edmonton was the only Alberta jurisdiction excluded from improved employment insurance benefits in the federal budget

There is no ability to impeach anyone we are not a republic, we are stuck with a dictator for 4 years. The only real option is the government falling on a confidence motion but because they have a majority, that won't happen either.
Constitutionally, the only way is for the Governor General to inter-vein but that has NEVER happened in Canadian history.
andyt @ Wed Mar 23, 2016 5:24 am
Well. let's hope he does't inter-vein, since that would be a pretty radical procedure.

Who are the Liberals' middle-class winners? Good question
