As much as I want to agree with you McKay....ish....we need to do more than just say we own it

It would be a shame if that pretty little underwater flag was knocked over by the anchor of a buoy with a Canadian flag on it...

There, that's much, much better. [flag]

BTW, the USA is opposed to the outline we made (under Joe Clark) of our Norther Sovereignty

Indeed it is. I should have used my imagination.

Now we really need to get something up there. Now. And make it big.

All the more reason for Canada to have a decent Navy.

I emphatically agree. Time to revive the Polar 8 icebreaker for the Coast Guard.

And we should have a JSS-type vessel for the Navy that would have similar icebreaking capabilities.

I read somewhere that Canada is stepping up its Artic fleet quite a bit. If so, it's a good start.

Don't we already have an flag up there? It's up on the ice, not on the seafloor.

We do.

I think I'll let you Canadians and Russians fight over the Artic. I am content with the US owning the moon. :)

Sorry Toronto, but we should put the CN Tower on a barge and just drop it at the North Pole. Then rename it the "North Pole". Put a Canadian flag on top and tell Putin to top that!

There's one much closer.
