For sure Bill was the Canadian President! They were cheering in the streets of Halifax for him during the the 21st summit. Bush couldn't quite get over our manner of waving with only one finger in the air. XD

I remember this article about this small American town that got hit hard by Natural Disasters. Canadian Companies funded the re-construction of this American Town, along with Canadian workers to help re-build it. The town in gratitude renamed there town to something Canadian Related. My guess is they were singing the Canadian Anthem on that day. You would have loved it trit ;)

Was the town on the Canadian river? :D

Yup Bush was #1.

I'm sure he gave as good as he got...

Yep and it's a good thing for the people of America that Canadians don't hold grudges. We pulled the asses of many Americans out of the fire during the Bush years, despite the attitude of a man hell bent on destroying his country.

You'd do well to remember we could have left those planes in the air!

You should just be grateful that after we kicked your ass in 1812 we didn't invade your whole country, or else you'd all be speaking ummm...English and French.

See the difference is I know how to be grateful for the help extended to Canadians during The Halifax Explosion, WWII. I was personally thankful of Maine power crews during hurricane Juan. Canada says thank you and moves on. We know we are one nation , yet we aren't arrogant enough to believe we can always do it on our own. We think UN rules of engagement apply to us. We didn't jump on TV with it's Canada's fault when terrorism hit your country, instead we took your planes, opened our doors, took money out of our personal pockets, took time away from our jobs and families, some of us slept on our couches to give our rooms to someone we had never met in need. When the power grid went down, we didn't go on TV and say it's Canada's fault( inaccurately once again)we set about fixing it. No where is it written we must host your business's, watch your TV channels, buy your products. We as a nation could stop tomorrow. We would struggle yes, but as a nation we would rise again. We could close our borders that is not a uniquely American ability. Please remember Canada and Canadians on the world stage have a long history of being well received. Ask any long term member of the military what is/was thought of American bases before 9/11, ask how much further damage Bush has inflicted on that perception. Bush couldn't say thanks he has a history of biting the hand that feeds him. Color it any way you want. The United States of America is not the world power it once was, currently it is on it's knees. If arrogance is to be the rule of the day under this next administration, you may pull together as a nation but you will never return to where you once were on a world stage. Your country has many bridges to repair, you do your country or countrymen no favors when you try to pretend it is not so.
