poquas poquas:
ridenrain ridenrain:
So corruption is acceptable as long as Harper isn't in power?

And you think it's ok as long as he is?

Give your head a shake, you tool. Is that why I'm calling for reforms in the PMO? That would affect Tories as much as grits and would benefit all Canadians equally.

Read my siggy,

 Actually, kinda, yes!!! I'd rather be fucked by just about anyone more than Harper. At least you could sit down and enjoy a beer with Jean Chretien. You could get stoned and talk about choking folks. Harper'd just be no fun at all to be around. The comination of an idealogue and a low IQ makes a candidate I couldn't support.

So who's the blind partisan now?

All people are corruptable and it's only the checks and balances built into a system that limits that abuse. When the top of the pile is corrupt, and also controls all the checks and balances, the system is flawed and we all lose.

I don't see it as corrupt. I could care less about these boring scandals of a politician pocketing 12 dollars in change and lying about it and the Canadian media jumping on it because they are in so dire need of something to report in this country. I see it more of incompetence in politics. Case in point, the latest juicy tidbit on Mulroney and Schreiber......who cares. Love these scandals on former PM's...which is not short for PMS I might add. 20 years later...ohhhh that guy did that, and that...and that...wow. Makes you wonder how they didn't catch it in the first place. Some see that as interesting...I don't. To each his/her own.

How about the Briarwood investigation over the Dziekanski death? The #2 man in the RCMP was issuing an apology at the same time the officers were blatantly contradicting the video evidence. The officers on oath were directly contradicting the video evidence. If 4 officers can ignore evidence with no results, what chance do any average citizens have with less evidence?

If it's like BC, you have to beg to get someone to be a JP.
My kid got in shit once, I had to drive way out to this farm and fetch the JP, she was haying at the time, to get some paper signed.
She quit later on, and we didn't have one for a long time. I hear she reluctantly agreed to do it again just last year.
