Er.....are you referring to our very own Keystone Kops? The RCMP have lost so much credibility in the last few years as to be a laughing stock. Too bad really, as they were once the best police force in the world.

Then call up a military tribunal. Or the Supreme Court, or any law firm. Nobody would ever, ever, take up a treason case just because we didn't have isolationist economic policies

Of course they wouldn't. It would be called "sticking their neck out", and we all know that job and career protection rank #1 in all of those sinecures you listed.
BTW, putting all one's eggs in one basket is about as isolationist as one can get.
Think about it (or don't)...........
