Ya know what. She is Illegal there for she has not rights. I know it sucks for the kid, but she should have thought about that.
Unless she thought that by having the kid, it would secure her place here in Canada

no fucking kidding sherlock
over a million anchor babies born to illegal Mexicans in the U.S. every year, with the same hope for the future.
Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands is the primary stop over for the Japanese wanting papers to the United States.
I wrote a book on this.

Who knocked her up?
It could be me. I had a few beers about a year ago and can't remember a thing one winter night...
But having babies here to gain entry into Canada begs the question. Why was the baby conceived in the first place? Citizenship? If a baby is born to two Swiss in a Canadian airliner over the Pacific it qualifies for Canadian citizenship. Why?
Many people from the Orient send their pregnant wives to Vancouver to give birth. Why?
One of these days I am going to the Orient to impregnate a dozen young dishes. Then I can claim citizenship in half a dozen countries.
Hmmmm do they have PC like we do?

If I read correctly (it is kinda early in the morning here...), she has been in Canada for 10 years. Why didn't she apply for PR then? Got a job, and go through the PNP-system? There are many ways to get into Canada legally. This is not one of them... "She hopes her daughter will sponsor her someday". Man, what a b*tch of a mom.
I'm really sorry for the girl. She was not born for the right reasons... I hope one day she will be able to live with this story.

I agree with you Brenda, what a tag to put on a child.
But if she is lucky she will be adopted by people who love her for being her. Not love her for being access to a country.
