Canadian
Just made the chances of the Conservative Party of Canada winning the next election even better!!!
I strongly disagree.
I thought his speech was very good and was great that he highlighted what each of the other candidates contributed and can contribute lookinf forward. But is something he will need to improve, some of the other candidates were definatly better public speakers.
I loved the interview with Jean Chretien on CTV after the speach, I like Chretien, I think hes a funny guy.
But from the soledarity on stage and the actions of Igatieff at how to took the defeat really helped to unify the party to come out of the convention united. Which I think was one of the most important things that needed to happen, even more so than a new leader.
Conservatives and Harper better watch out, the Liberal party is coming now!
Cya Liberals you just blew it. Take a seat on the pine you'll be there a while.
you Conservatives would be saying the same thing no matter who won.
I think tonight the right decision was made selectiong Dion or Kennedy. Rae would have tilted the scales too far to the left, Ignatieff to far to the right.
Canadians are in the center, that is where the Liberal party is and why its been so successful, and will be once again. The Progressive Conservatives could play in this turf, but this new Conservative party, especially under harper are too far to the right, and the results from the January election show this.
The Liberals will be back in 2007.
Why do you think you know what Canadians are ?
Typical Liberal.
And no they won't. You got a party of nobodies and worn out yappers.
I would not guess who's going to win in Canada.
Canadians have become more like Americans, than Americans.
As usual 10 years to late.
My money is on a Conservatives win.
That picture with the red tape says a lot. I have as hard a time seeing a liberal win in '07 as I do a con majority. Both long on the odds.
Dion is more of a scholar than a public speaker.
He might appeal to some Federalists in Quebec.
At least he stands for a united Canada.
Let's get a close up & see what that tape says:
Yup. Good old Liberal values.
