This election tells me Canadians are not buying into the liberal lies about global warming...
Adding a tax to an allready over taxed population was political suicide, add to that the economy isnt looking to hot and the liberals track record with tax's and it's no surprise they lost seats.
The Greens really didnt have an answer to what they wanted to do with the economy and the eviroment, just to do what it takes to make the evnviroment better...

No. Instead they bought into the Conservatives lie about the Green Shift plan.
What lie? The Libs couldnt prove to enough Canadians that it would work...
The Liberals completely ignored the reality of life in The North and rural Canada with their Green Shit plan. The cost of living has already gotten out of hand due to the rising cost of fuel and Dion's idea would only make food and fuel that much more expensive.

Not too mention the fuel shortage in the north the last 3 years.
May is a moron...in 2021 when all today's '5-year-olds' are 18...
most of them won't vote Green...if Green even exists.
In fact, if yesterday's trend continues, most of 'em won't
vote at all.

You've got to respect the fact that she decided to run in the riding she wanted to be in, and not just one she might have had had the best chance.
No she is a moron, she just announced that she is going to run in the same riding against Peter MacKay in the next election.
I don't think there's anything wrong with that - she's putting values ahead of ensuring her victory. A political leader that's not afraid to face a challenge against unfavourable odds isn't something to be scoffed at. She got 70% of the votes MacKay did, so obviously some of the people in her riding respect that as well.
That being said, the whole issue of the agreement with the Liberals to remove their candidate in that riding goes against that principle, so she's no saint.
One important thing for a party leader, make it into parlament. Considering she is running against one of the most popular Conservatives, i dont see this happening. She did come in second, but with close to 6000 less votes what MacKay had.

her arrogance cost her
I'm glad she's out the fat cow is a blemish on Canadian democracy, just a whore for the Liberal party.

A distant second with Liberal supporters working on her campaign AND no Liberal candidate to go against.

I'm totally against any kind of international party like the Green Party which runs in most countries. I believe they currently form the elected government in Germany...
Why Canadians are not questioning the motives behind an international party like the Greens perplexes me... Imagine if the US Republicans started a Rep party in Canada there would be a vast public outcry from coast to coast...
May is a traitor and she is selling out our Canadian sovereignty to a vast international organization that was spawned by the World WildLife Fund and Prince Phillip....
