Hopefully Charlie abdicates in favour of William - if he doesn't, I'm done with the monarchy.
I doubt he will. It's been known that he has been trained and groomed for the role of King, and that he very much wants to fill that role. I'm not a fan of him either, but I will give him a chance. But Camilla will never be Queen in my mind.

I agree with that.
King Charles will be very difficult to adjust to though.

I'm anti-monarchy but I've always liked the old lady. 
It's easy to look nice when you are the last one standing. That said she did give stability for the commonwealth. Now that's over we will look back on this time with envy. I have my doubts King Chuck will see a jubilee.

If not in fact, the era of Monarchy has ended. With her perfect example of what it had naturally become.
Time to rethink, dig the old Centennial coin set out and put those national animals on the obverse of coins, put Terry Fox or some other national source of pride on the $20. Refer to the GG as 'Head of State"

I remember jokingly saying I wondered if she would send herself a letter on her 100th birthday.
I think losing Philip last year took a toll on her health regardless of how strong she appeared to be after his passing.

Covid did her in, losing Philip was crushing but she could carry on but Covid robbed her ability to recover.
