It would be one hell of a long run............but I guess they've done that sort of thing before. There's a diamond mine going north of there so maybe there something tied in with that..?
More then one,and a few more diamond mines,uranium mines and gold mines.
If their talking hot lines then they mean gas or live power or telecommunication lines that are under the ground where your going to be digging.

Maybe that is it then. My brother works at the diamond mine in Apawapaskat and says it's a big deal up there and will be around for decades. It would be close to that route too.......... as well as a few thousand mineral mines that are being opened.

If you can work where I do and still hack it after a week then you can do anything.

There aint no life like it eh Ziggy?? I work outside all winter too running into the mountains to the rigs.. This last cold spell didnt stop the rigs OR US from heading out.. I like it colder,, hard snow gives better traction for the tire chains we put on every time we go off road.. No you dont need to be mental, you need to be on your toes..or you'll lose them!!

Just come back i from North of Fox Creek and it was minus 31 with out the wind today... Blowing snow on the way back though.. and people still cant drive for shit!!!

Around here we got 'up to' -25. I plugged in the van the other day, just in case'. Went out to start it today and found out my cord was NFG!
Propane heater kept freezing up but the truck was running so I set up some heat duct and then came back in for a snooze. I went back out and hit the key and now both vehicles are running. Fixed my cord too!
