The world is ending !!!!

The only soloution give us money !!!

Yeah right.

ASLplease @ Sat Dec 19, 2009 2:55 pm

we are rich in resources, not manufacturing and people. The only possible way we could be the worse offender is if they are counting their own guilty consumptions on our list becase it comes from us.

Accordingly to their left-wing belief, those groups live on unicorn powder and good intentions.

They blame us for having the "worst objectives", yet we are among the few that have realistic goals. They just want to hear nice stuff about how we're going to save the world, regardless of how we can reach this goal.

We should just have said that we were going to cure the planet by creating a huge CO2 magnet that gathers all man-made CO2 and turn it into fairy dust that cures aids and we would have been applauded.

If not giving the developing world a blank cheque makes us a "fossil", then we should be proud of our award.

We are # 8 on emmissions.

What about the other 7 above us?

The US, China, Russia, India, Japan, Germany, and the UK all have way higher emmissions than we do. Why aren't these GW cultists having a go at them?

Because stats and real evidence doesn't matter to the new secular and left wing religion of Global Warming.

Time for the Danish Inquisition. Nobobody expects the Danish Inquisition.

I don't care about the opinion of any of these groups. Why are the greenies always trying to make this a popularity contest of the ignorant instead of convincing us with their undeniable science?

Because they don't have undeniable science.

Define 'undeniable science'.

ridenrain @ Sun Dec 20, 2009 12:08 pm

Conclusions that are not based on torqued data that has since been erased.

Annihilator @ Sun Dec 20, 2009 12:12 pm

Scientists search for data, then make a conclusion based on this information.

Climate scientists have a conclusion, then search for data that supports that conclusion.

Incorrect. You're speaking of a specific case. I mean 'in general'.

Besides, there are many other sources of data. Erased data is small potatoes in the long run. Climate 'change' depends on data collected of many millennia to predict. And as the story I submitted early in the week, it may be a natural procession so both sides here may be wrong :P .

And if a better conclusion comes up that fits available data? Or if conclusions don't fit the available data?

There is no such thing as 'undeniable science'. Everything is subject to being overturned by better data.

Science is accepted because experiments can be repeated. The man-made global warming folks have not proven their case and most people are rejecting them.

"The percentage of Americans who believe global warming is happening has dipped from 80 to 72 percent in the past year, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, even as a majority still support a national cap on greenhouse gas emissions. "
