And speaking of on topic, which I've not been, I have a bit of a problem with understanding why Quebec is so influential they are not the whole country. To me its like saying Alabama is against something so thus the whole USA should be against it to. Can someone explain why they seem to have such a major influence in Canada.

WWI and WWII were obligations, plain and simple. Canada is part of the British Commonwealth and really had no option in those 2 wars....but you know that alrady...right smart boy?
Quebec cut from France and Europe along time ago. French Canadians are NOT frenchmen(France), they are French Canadian, Quebecers, Quebecois. They do not feel that a war that does not directly impact their homeland (Canada) as being their responsibility.
