It's really quite the other way around.
The experience of the US over the past fifty years is that the more gun control you have the more crime you have.
The worst cities for gun crime in America remain those cities that do their best to frustrate law abiding citizens from owning guns.
The states that have adopted various carry laws have seen violent crimes decrease...which has caused more states to adopt even more liberal carry laws.
All I know is if I'm sitting in that London restaurant when those Jihadis stormed in and cut that woman's throat while screaming "This is for Allah!" you could talk me into a gun.

I don't believe in gun control. I believe that certain types of degenerates shouldn't be allowed to possess firearms, ever, because they're too mentally and emotionally dangerous to be given the franchise to.

I'd also prohibit people from buying or owning firearms if they support gun control.

Bad example this time, Bud. These London knife attacks are as bad as they are, because they can't be stopped as quick as they are in Israel. Wanna know how the Israelis most often stop them? Guns.
The Brits stopped this attack COLD in 8 minutes - that's a response rate most cities around the world wish they could match. Pretty damned impressive for a police force where a large percentage DON'T carry a firearm.

They're also much more disciplined cultures than the North American one is. They're also generally not bombarded 24 hours a day by cable channels and hate-radio programs and YouTube fuckwits that use over-saturation of their sickening brand of "reporting" as way to subliminally encourage mass panic. One of the dumb-fuck Americans said "London looks like a war zone tonight!" and the Brits were all like "lol wut?" because they aren't buying into any of the media bullshit.

It's interesting a special elite NAS unit called Blue Thunder jumped in a helicopter and raced to the scene as well. The armed units of the Police force beat them. Or at least, so they say.
