Leaked file suggests 4 Canadians killed by friendly fire
WTF? Why are people so quick to believe the worst?
A staff weenie in some higher headquarters makes a minor fuck up on a report and years later it resurfaces as "truth" in a document dump despite the media's own in theatre reports, the CF's statements and interviews with eye witnesses.
Those people need to give their heads a shake.

Christie Blatchford can cover the story. At least she puts an effort into her craft.
You mean she kisses your ass.

freedom of the press. Deal wiht it or haul your ass and ass-kissing Blatchford to North Korea.
And with that freedom comes responsibility.
But I guess that is a concept beyond your grasp.

I grasp it just fine--
I didn't release the information.
Your grasp of what constitutes objectivity is a bit vague though. Blatchford is a cheerleader. She writes op-eds, not news.

My theory is the military makes some young stud soldiers give encouragement to Blatchford on a rotating basis. "Agh, no, no Blatchford duty again, send me to Astan, the Arctic, anything but that."
Actually I kind of enjoy her pieces because they do present a different slant. Her bias is obvious, it's not like she's trying to pull anything. (Except maybe of those soldiers.)
