Why would anybody want to remember him?

dino_bobba_renno @ Wed Jan 30, 2008 7:50 pm

This statue, is it of a horse's ass?

Freakinoldguy @ Wed Jan 30, 2008 8:41 pm

WTF, the man selected as the worst Canadian in history and this nimrod [kissass] wants to erect a statue of him on Parliment Hill?

ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL
Ahh, it's good to see the Liberal Party Of Canada's cult of personality is still alive and kicking, the Great Leader would be pleased.

Love or Hate him, Trudeau is a very significant Canadian PM.

boy, I'm gonna get razzed for this..

I agree with the statue.. PET was a great PM for Canada.

tough with the FLQ..

strong federalist when negotiating with provinces..

i know people in Alberta werent happy with the Energy program, but that was also in the interests of ALL Canada.

best results with Quebec referendum 60 / 40 .. no 51/49 BS

getting us a constitution... i loved that " well there's a second list " comment.. ROTFL

no problem telling the Americans to fuck off .. when they deserved it :)

a strong CANADIAN all around.

Only thing to criticize is this 'multicultural' idea, but you must remember the situation was VERY different back then.. even Holland wasnt in the trouble it is in now.

and Trudeau looks even better when you look at that sob Mulroney who came after him.

so, there it is .. let the flaming begin :)

Umm, actually it was in the intrest of vote rich Ontario and the other eastern provinces. Wasn't very good for Alberta but maybe we're not considered part of Canada.

Bravo! its about time that Canada's greatest Prime Minister since Sir. Wilfred Laurier was recognized.. I sent a letter to the Hon. Peter Milliken suggesting that Pierre Trudeau be put on a denomination of our currency.. I also suggested the same recognition for Louis Riel....
this is awesome news... cant wait to visit Ottawa and actually see this testimony to one of Canada's greats... bravo! bravo!

Hopefully they can make it in time to commemorate the death of Trudeau's great friend Castro. Maybe it could be Trudeau, standing beside a seated "Unka Fidel" with the Trudeau boys sitting on his lap. Aww.. what a nice picture. They could have done Suharto but I understand he was much closer to Chretien anyways.

well right now Harper is smoozing up the the Chinese... and oh ya .. arent they communist too? but guess thats ok.. he has to move on because pretty soon he will have to unplug his face from bush's ass and move on... so why not try a little chop suey?
