$1:
"Mandatory detention is just not in the Canadian tradition. We think it's not Charter-proof, as a result."

Opposition unites against proposed human smuggling legislation
$1:
Liberals and New Democrats indicated they were unfazed by the prospect of the government making the vote a matter of confidence.

Woo hoo! I'll get my election snow shoes shined up.

When will these dummies realize that they are not dealing with Canadian citizens?

Yeah, I smell another Conservative minority... maybe even a majority. Thanks Iggy.

ShepherdsDog @ Wed Dec 01, 2010 8:30 pm

If he gets a majority, there'll be some dramatic changes in the way things are done in Canada...some good, some not so popular, which doesn't necessarily mean that they are bad for the country in the long run). It'd be worth it to see Kermie have an anyeurism.

Iggy is being silly on this one. He's found his small hill to die on.

It's not just Iggy though. It's everyone who isn't a Conservative.

Opposing for the sake of opposing. Yeah, that's effective.

He's not opposed just to be opposed. He was for it in the first reading wasn't he? He's opposed because because his party and the rest of the opposition told him to be opposed.

They are opposing for the sake of opposing, whether it's Iggy or the puppet masters.

There are times when the Loyal Opposition ought to remember that the loyalty they owe is to Canada and not their party ideologies.
