Read earlier that one of the assholes who defaced the Winston Churchill statue was Charlie Gilmour, son of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour.
Yes, the peasants and clearly underprivileged (like Charlie Glimour) certainly have a right to be angry.

Some of these pukes are not students nor are they underprivileged, they're just vandals and brigands and they've got an excuse to break things so there they are.
The only thing worse than the anarchists is the pathetic and impotent response to them.
When Charles and Camilla were attacked by the crowd the *only* appropriate response in my book is extreme to lethal force. Had someone in that crowd managed to kill the next King because the police were afraid to offend anyone...well, geez, I'm no fan of Charles, but that would have been horrible.
Straight up: If a crowd attacked Obama that way the Secret Service would be making corpses and God help anyone who'd get in their way.
I'd be sorely disappointed if some of the kids from Regent's Park aren't being called up to do guard duty right now.

Heads should roll for this and not the security detail either. The chief of police who cleared the route should resign for exactly the reasons you raise Bart. This very well could haven been lethal and the security detail would have had no other option. The idiot who put them in that position should either step down or be fired and sent to serve time for such a breach.

Most students that really want an education have full or part time jobs to help pay
expenses.
Why were these students on the streets.
They should have been at work.
What ever happened to the term. Work Ethic?
