I don' know why you're all getting your panties tied up in knots... at usual, nothing will happen.
Mind you, Kim might have read "The Mouse That Roared".

The difference here is that it isn't just the usual talk. Lots of players are making very expensive moves and unless Elvis backs down then those players are committed to action. Especially the Chinese. They don't have the resources to call up 150,000 troops and send them to the border just to turn around and back down. They don't operate that way.

The Chinese might have reasons that are completely different than what you think.

True, but so long as they depose that little prick I'd be happy.

Just in, the task force has just now added an additional carrier to the fleet.....
the USS Barack Obama......

Kind of obsolete though considering that Trump already beat in three months Obama's travel costs for his entire eight year admin. By the time it's over they might be able to build another super-carrier with the same amount of money Trump's spending on his trips to Florida.
Any more news on the DPRK situation???

Norks tried a missile launch but it failed. Their launch sites should at least be turned into craters.

Yes. Regardless of success or failure, this was an act of defiance. Even in the face of total war, Kim is still willing to set the whole thing off. Further, a failed launch today is a successful launch tomorrow. It also exposes a vulnerability that we should exploit while we are able.
Not using this as justification for a strike will just further solidify Kim's resolve, putting him in the mindset that he could get away with nuking Seoul. This has to mean striking his assets now, while the military and civilian casualties can still be contained to a relatively low number if (more like when) total war breaks out. There wont be another opportunity like this without a significantly higher risk of successful nuclear attacks on SK, Japan, and the US.

North Korea as a whole should be turned into a crater. Enough of this moron and his chumps already!
