What was the point of the residential school program then if it wasn't to 'tame the savages'?
I support our treaty obligations. I think we should honour them, and work toward making life better for the people affected by this horrible program from our past.
How did taming the savages become genocide?
Have you packed your bags yet or are you suddenly content that treaty obligations arrived upon after the military and economic defeat of a people is suddenly fair game?
