Makes me wonder about ways to monitor police activities to make sure they pay attention to regulations.

One idea that pops into my mind stems from how prevalent dash cameras are on police cruisers.

Have any of you heard of helmet mounted cameras? You can mount them on most tactical helmets and they will record what you see. Not sure how much they can record but they essentially shows everything a soldier see's

I know it would cost a lot but this would give us a complete view of everything a cop see's in order to make decisions at the scene of a crime. For instance in a police shooting without this a cop could claim that a man charged him with a knife and there would be a possibility that he placed the knife in order to cover his ass. If we saw it from his viewpoint though how could he forge evidence against that?

They teach officers in hong kong to fire two rapid shots into center mass and head when they fire to make sure an assailant dies.

   

Too bad but more and more today's policemen are looking like some South American dictators henchmen. There have been way too many incidences of police brutality in our society to be tolerated. Obviously there is a great deal of training missing like people and communications skills. It just goes to show that a number of policemen cannot handle authority. Having said that, what really makes me want to puke is the fact that they are protected by their bosses, and our politicians of all stripes. These assholes,and I mean that literally, should be in an institution getting some psychiatric help.

   

Surviellance of all public areas would ensure the public servants aren't mistreating the public in public.

   

I just hope this doesn't give cops in general a bad name

and yes there are bad police out there, terrible. but what's worse is how people label EVERY cop as a bad cop, shit pisses me off.

you hear about all the bad shit that cops do but NOTHING of the good they do.....hey, guy rape your daughter lately? no.... can your kid walk home alone?yeah.....wow...THANK A COP.

shit like this brings out all the vultures to snip and pick at the service as a whole, meh police have too much power, meh police this, police that....NO IT IS AN INDIVIDUAL IN UNIFORM, A F-ED SICK INDIVIDUAL WHO TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF TO DO THIS ACT.

it is not the police, it is the individual who does these terrible things.

and my final rant.....who the f**k REALLY knows what goes on before an action is taken? every one is a freggen monday morning quarterback.

Instead of being a typical ass why don't you address the disgraceful and more and more common conduct of the police. On every viral video site we see more and more evidence of conduct from the so called defenders of peace and justice that is anything but.

The rantings of a 15 year old should hardly be a large concern for any thoughtful adult so why don't you address the very serious issues at hand.

   

And this is what I mean. Yeah it's sick, but fuck don't hate all cops for a few fucknuts, or else we should hate everyone in the world.

   

How is calling that guys freinds a joke make him anymore of an ass then hating on all cops(even the ones who die in service)?

I do agree that this should be about the issue of brutality but I posted a possible solution earlier in this thread about that and noone responded(not even you) so obviously there is no interest in this thread regarding actual solutions.
