The only thing that keeps Canada from taking its position is the lack of faith in itself. Canada has all the ingredients. It just needs the balls and the gumption to put it together.

I think Canada has the potential to be so much more than it is, but the mindset of most Canadians is to worry more about their effin' healthcare than what kind of country their children will inherit. Americans have been on this path of self destruction for some time now but it seems that Canadians would like to race us to the finish line of oblivion.

The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (Gibbons) anymore reads like a rehash of modern day Western Civilization (WC).

If you equate modern day WC to the Roman Empire (RE) then follow:

Rome divided into the Eastern and Western Empires as they became too big to manage.

WC divided into European and American spheres after WW2.

When the Western RE faced being over run by the Lombards, Goths, and Franks the Eastern (or Byzantine) RE sat back and did almost nothing.

Europe is being over run by the socialist rot of its cultures and is also being over run by muslim immigrants while the USA & Canada do nothing about it and are more or less allowing the same things to happen to them.

I figure the first muslim government in Western Europe will take power within fifty years at current rates of immigration and I also figure it will be France that will be the first to fall.

Canada and the USA might last another century after that.

By 2050 I expect China to have taken political control of Vancouver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland in much the same way the European powers once controlled cities in China.

By 2100 I expect that the USA and Canada will not exist anymore.

We won't have perished in some climactic battle.

We'll be erased from history either by the deliberate act of joining the abortion of the North American Union or we'll go out with a whimper as China, Mexico, and Quebec dismantle us without a fight.

Just as the Romans disappeared because they were not interested in fighting for their country so will we disappear because of the defeatist and narcissistic attitudes that pervade our countries and have so many of our fellow citizens believing that our societies and culture are not worth fighting for.

My friend Mike and I are predicting A Pan-European Civil War to happen between the historic whites and the immigrants somewhere between the years 2025 and 2050.

   

Maybe sooner.

But that's only if the Europeans (inclusive of people who have assimilated and become Europeans) develop one of these:

The Military Canada had at the end of WW2 was simply too large to be sustained. Sure, we could have kept it all and waved it around every once in awhile to strut our stuff, but it would destroy the Economy and we'd eventually go broke.

Canada could eventually become a "Super" power, but not until its' population increases dramatically. We'll never see it, but perhaps in 100 years or so it certainly might happen.

   

What does this have to do with Canada?

   

With the class of immigrants coming into Canada? Not bloody likely! If all immigration originated from Europe, then absolutely 100%! Alas, the majority of immigrants originate from Asia, therefore there is no way in Hell we would ever become a superpower. By all rights, we should be one today due to our enormous cache of natural resources. As it is, our so-called powerful economy is strangled by socialist policies which seek to hand everything over to do-nothing immigrants who are granted full rights the very moment they set foot upon our soil (it's in our Charter of Rights you dipshits, clearly a huge mistake which we will be paying for over the decades). It is only when we end all immigration from non-European countries, and put an end to the ridiculous 'rights' for all those who merely step upon our soil will we ever be able to pursue our dream of becoming a global superpower.

I should like to comment on the idiot who claimed our weather is one reason we are not a superpower. Hello, former Soviet Union? The idiot's stupid remark is clearly a result of socialist education policies. We are churning out morons by the minute.
