Well it is true. If it wasn't why is Beijing having to give lessons to people in preparation for the Olympics to not spit everything and learn to be more civilised?

Believe it or not, Chinese people learn English starting in elementary school. Can they properly spell every English word in the dictionary? Nope, but that could also be said for half the people on this forum.
The one thing I do know is that most Chinese can spell English far better than most Canadians can spell Chinese...

Of course the racist cry gets called out and you would rather look at that than actually look up the practices of the Chinese. Go look it up if you do not beleive me or are you that naive to think everyone lives by the same customs as we do in the west?

Yes, I've been to both China and the UK, as well as Taiwan, Korea, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the USA to name a few places. Spitting, while disgusting, is not as bad as the thousands of wads of gum that Londoners gob onto their streets daily!
Here's some stats about your beloved homeland and how 'clean' it is.

In case you can't see my point, it's that if you live in a glass house you shouldn't throw stones. I've seen plenty of nasty habits in every country I've visited, but there are plenty of nasty ones right here too.
And you can call it racism, but if you go and toss out a blanket statement which basically translates to "the Chinese are filthy animals", then expect to get challenged on it.

And cigarette butts. I used to work at a Tim Hortons, and every day we had to go out and sweep up the trash in the parking lot. Every time I did it I probably swept up 50 cigarette butts. Absolutely disgusting.
