And you wonder why Quebec is anti immigration... there is too much of this shit everywhere in Canada and far too much in Quebec.. I think if they commit crimes or are involved in shit like this and haven't been in the country 10 yrs then they should be deported..

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about Quebec, screw it I guess, (cause I am tired of repeating the same whole fucking thing everytime).

But this thread is more on the issue of riots and so forth. Can someone here actually come out and say, with a straight face, that what ''they'' did was civil !!! No, it's not. period.

All I can say is, That's not the way Quebecers or Canadians should behave.

   

Montreal is slowly becoming a hellhole like Detroit and Johannesburg and it's just gonna get worse. Math is easy : 50k immigrants per year in Quebec with 49k settling in Montreal. Massive and concentrated immigration has caused the problems Montreal is having now.

To see what the once beautiful city is becoming is painful. Montreal-Nord invaded by street gangs. Neighborhoods like Ahunstic are not even safe anymore. Montreal-South is even worst : Little Burgundy-St-Henri reminds me of Lagos, Nigeria and Ville Lasalle or Verdun look like Bucarest. Even Montreal-east has become a real shithole as neighborhoods like St-Léonard where kids at elementary schools must go thru metal detectors before classes. Anglos are fleeing more and more west and francos more and more east. A real pity !

The disease is now spreading to other cities like Quebec city where neihborhoods like Duberger has now problems with street gangs.

Hey, Quebec has actively recruited Francophone immigrants and has its own dept. of "Quebec Immigration", ensuring that a bias towards French speakers being accepted as immigrants to "la Belle Provence" is the norm.

Pity that Haiti used to be a French colony. Now Montreal is getting the third world picture.

Its way worse than Jamaica. Unless you bring in the murder rate.

Plus you have the issues Algeria and Morocco 'front and centre' in France and that stuff is seeping into Canada.

French speakers that killed the Legion in the 1960's, and caused the Fourth Republic to fall etc, have grand kids challenging Montreal Cops.
Add in the jihadi mix and we have excellent prospects for Quebec Immigration.

Well its true of Toronto also.. I have read shit about Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.. the cultural differences are ruining the country.. and yes we should be more careful who we let in.. I have said it over and over..its time to really take a hard look at immigration. In downtown Montreal you actually get shoved off the sidewalk and if you look sideways you are accused of racism and get the crap beat out of you.. its time we got tough with this shit..

   

This thing has been on the Quebec news broacast since it all started. Funny thing is, ''they'' keep bitching about whatever and using that mistreatment excuse. Hey, Canada has been very tolerant as for immigration, but some use this to show their appreciation.

Scoring political points on what Canada is today is always partisan.
Quebec has made it's bed. Only allowing French speakers into that province has been a 'status quo' since De Gaulle did his worst.
You French wanna help out? Be a first in 270 years.

FFS, Toronto's population is 49% foreign born, and a higher number is non white. Toronto is not a violent city. No race riots etc. Yes some immigrants Canada has let in have been questionable, but like pointed out by some already on this forum, Quebec has it's own immigration program and in a way, have themselves to blame. If they no longer wanted Algerians, Morocans, Haitians, and other former french colonists, they could look outside the sphere of Francophones.

I agree that some immigrant groups have been assholes. But many of these are isolated cases, with so many of the of the criminals actually raised in Canada. Again, cities with the highest immigration rates tend to have lower crime per capita than ethnically WASP/Catholic/White/Native cities.

In a way, Canadian media concentrates more on cases where the crimes are perpetrated by immigrants, less when the immigrants are the victims, and highest when the victim is of European origin and the perpetrator of a crime is an immigrant, or Canadian with parents from a foreign non European country. This creates a false perception that mainly immigrants commit crimes. And hence, we are back on the forum, bitching, going in circles.

   

   

Hello.....Toronto is becoming the crime capital of north america.. there are random and not so random shootings almost daily.. there are sub cultural pockets of immigrants who collect in certain areas and force people to move.. immigrants come here and blame Canada for not handing them la vie en rose on a silver platter.. most know they can collect welfare and are too fucking lazy to work.. its true. and its obvious in Montreal.. there are certain immigrant groups who have a chip on their shoulder and prefer to steal a living than earn one.. You have to applaud Quebecois (e) for standing up to this crap..more provinces should be so proactive. And I know people living in Scarborough who are afraid to go for groceries on a Friday night.. Toronto is known as Toronto the terrible by some folks.
