This is a great day for the USA, without a armed populace you can never truley be a free country!
For once we agree on something.

Should be the same way in Canada too.

Holy Sh#$
This is, indeed, an excellent day for America in terms of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, but more importantly, the US Supreme Court also ruled that rights in the Constitution belong to The People except where specified as belonging to the States.
Had they ruled otherwise then the other rights of the Constitution could've easily been defined as not belonging to indivduals, but to states and other forms of collectives.
The ruling, therefore, was a victory for the rights of individuals over the collectivist notion of group rights overruling individual liberties.
Oh, and for those ninnies who wanted to impose a gun ban on the USA, like the mayor of Toronto, ![Moon [but]](./images/smilies/bootie.gif)

LOL
Yes, it is a good day. Now, as a Canadian, when can I get my conceal and carry permit.

The best criminals are those that can't shoot straight and are out gunned.

This is truly wonder... just dont bitch when you're shot

Scalia noted that the handgun is Americans' preferred weapon of self-defense in part because "it can be pointed at a burglar with one hand while the other hand dials the police."

You're being kind of harsh on mayors. They don't have much in the way of legislative tools to address the problem of gun violence. They also lack the taxation powers that could pay for addressing the root causes. Are you willing to foot the tax bill for an extra 1000 cops in Toronto?

Buddy it's got nothing to do with cops, they do their jobs, it's the liberal judges that keep letting them out.

Did I say the cops weren't doing their job?

No you said there weren’t enough of them, and the ones we have can’t do the job because in your mind we need more.
so yes you did

So, the mayor of Toronto wants to ban guns in the U.S. I myself would tell him to remember, the U.S. is another country.

Congrats to our American friends.
Good points, Bart.
Much envy today.
Maybe someday, Canada will have property rights too.
