I agree, which is why I don't think anybody should bother. I don't care about the money so much as the loss of life, and that in this case it gives a card to the Taliban to play.

Should be like that joke a comedian tells about why hijackers never take black hostanges: "Hello, Whitehouse,we have two of your black citzens..." "Click."

This guy probably didn't believe that the things that have happened there have actually happened, or he just wanted to "see" for himself...

Given the Talibans penchant for peaceful dialogue and sense of fair play, I'd say that Canada will be short one highly defective gene it's pool soon.

   

If that happened then it would really prove once-and-for-all that karmic justice is real and that it really likes to chomp down hard on the sorry asses of those who deserve it the most.

They were distributing bibles though, they most likely assumed the boogeyman in the sky would protect them.

As a society we've completely lost our ability to take responsibility for our actions. If we get lost in the mountains sking out of bounds, the Ski Patrol saves us, no cost, If we go hiking and get lost, search and rescue saves us, no cost, if we go boating and run aground on a rock because the texaco map we're using as a chart isn't up to snuff, the Coast Guard saves us, no cost.

So you can see where people start to get the moronic idea that no matter what they do or how stupid it is, someone will save them, no cost.

My guess is that this nimrod figured if he got into anykind of trouble over there the Canadian Government would save him, no cost.
