People don't commit crimes because of their skin colour or where they are from, Manifest. Richardson's statements imply that they do.
The reality is that immigrants to Canada come from countries that have laws and they abided by those laws before they came here. When they get here, they abide by our laws.
In other words, a large proportion of immigrants are not factually committing crimes. Lee Richardson is a racist, so he thinks people with dark skin and cultural backgrounds that don't match his white christian upbringing are committing crimes.
He should be fired. If Harper doesn't have the balls to do that, then Harper is condoning racism.

So if a higher proportion of recent immigrants commit crimes compared to Native born Canadians, and somebody states this, even though it is a fact, you're a racist.

It sure is.
As we ALL know, there are serious pockets of crime committed by
immigrants in certain areas of our country. An example,[by NO means unique],
is the crime committed by certain Jamaican immigrants in Toronto. are all
Jamaican immigrants criminal ? OF COURSE NOT. Do a sizeable number
of honest Jamaican immigrants ignore the problem, or blame others ?
SURE. Do some in the Jamaican community admit there is a problem ? YES, VERY FEW.
The Looney Left cannot admit any of this. Why ? Because they desperately need
the 'ethnic-immigrant vote'...by pretending there's no problem, they
get that vote every time. It's disingenuous, extremely patronizing
and patriarchal, and really it's more racist that those who say
there's a problem.
Lefties know if you pat ALL immigrants/minorities on the head, they tend
to naively vote for you...every time. You be like "Massa Boss".
Works in Federal, provincial and municipal elections, and
ensures the endless appointments of pussy police chiefs, dysfunctional police boards, spineless judges....all the things that undermine a lawful society.
There are many other immigrant groups who are known to police as serious
sources of organized crime...Haitian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Serbian, Russian.
I did not intend to isolate on Jamaican community. Also there are many
home-grown organized criminal groups, not the least of which include bikers and
First-Nations.

Immigrants in California commit a disproportionate amount of crime. Close to 40% of our inmate population right now consists of illegal immigrants mostly from Mexico but per capita crime spikes higher with Southeast Asians and again with Russians and other Slavic groups. Meaning that in terms of per capita crime, Russians and other Slavics are the worst groups we have.
But the Russians tend to commit only property crimes while the SE Asians and Mexicans tend towards drug crimes and violent crimes such as robberies so they have a higher profile.
Still, the simple fact is that immigrants on a per capita basis represent a disproportionate amount of the crime rate in California.
That this is similar in Canada would be a statistical fact that can be readily quantified and anyone calling such facts 'racist' with the sole intent to intimidate and squelch commentary on such a fact is just a politically correct ignoramus.
