I'm no fan of Strutting Martinet either but when the likely alternative is the Party of the Three Qvislings (Harper, McKay, and Stronach who've done nothing visible to me except kick PM's ass for not selling us out fast enough), I can't say I'm anxious for an election...

   

Money is always the sole measure for your kind, isn't it. So-called NAFTA (it's not about Free Trade, that's a McGuffin - it's about free movement of capital investment for labour exploitation - busting unions, and all the benefits they've gained for the ordinary person - and being able to pick and choose the venue for prosecutions so as to get the laxest laws) also gave Merca dibs on the first 3/5 of all the natural gas we extract - and since Ottawa meets the quota with the politically impotent supplies first, in Nova Scotia our NG is heating Boston and paying its dividends to Ottawa leaving us stuck buying Virginian coal to make electricity, because God forbid we should use mine any of our own coal.

55 billion US in 2004, 65 billion US in 2005. That is just trade surplises, not total trade. US trade is almost all of your non service GDP, think about it.Its not something to scoff at. Think of the prosperity it has brought Canada. If you were to try to pull the plug on that the people hurt the most would be your own countrymen.

So you hate Americans, hate their guts for whatever reason you have, (One wonders if you have ever been to the USA.) Are you going to cut your own throat to make that fact clearer?

   

Are you aware of how much an election costs? I would rather see that money spent on useful things rather than an election because some parties see an opportunity to improve their position at the expense of the liberals.

Why is Harper so afraid to wait for the results of the Gomery
Inquiry? Maybe he's afraid it won't be nearly as bad as they are
making it out to be. The fact that the Gov't is not on trial but a few
bad apples are and there are plenty of contradictions and denials
to allegations - these are still not PROVEN FACTS but
allegegations people! This sounds like the Star Report and
Linda Tripp more and more each day. I for one would like to know
the facts before judging on something so important as handing
over our country to someone like Harper who has such disdain for
the country he would like to govern that he has bad mouthed us all
over the States and would like nothing better that to turn us into the
Republic of Cda off to war to fight for the U.S. of Israel to rule the
world .

   

I live in Ontario and the people in this province scare the hell out of me. We have a lot to answer for to the rest of Canadians. It is our fault that we are in this mess with the Liberals. Now I hear we don't want to bother having an election. The mob runs the country and we are to lazy to go out and vote. I think we wished we lived in Cuba and could have Castro as our leader. That way we could go back to sleep and never have a vote. The new Canada is pretty tough to take.
