I'd say the Simpsons is my favorite, but more the middle stuff and Family Guy has been pretty consistent, though it's hard to re-watch episodes because the jokes are one-time bits. Futurama is probably my all-time favorite and rumour has it that they are planning on releasing some new episodes (possibly as movies). So yeah, that's probably FG's biggest downfall, it's lack of syndication potential. I can watch Simpsons episodes over and over again and quote from them repeatedly, but FG...just doesn't work like that.

Both are great and ANYTHING beats American Dad. How they could let this pile o'trash live on and cancel Futurama is beyound me.


Because it's Fox...think "Arrested Development".

I think the problem with Futurama was that it was too esoteric for most people. With the Simpsons, you can get most of the movie and literary references. With Futurama the pop culture references were often obscure, at least to me.
