The Cornish Trilogy.

Robertson Davies? You made me laugh out loud; haven't thought of that in a long time. I gotta read Murther and Walking Spirits again now.

What the hell fig, I figured I'd go with Robertson Davies, who's written a few.

Murther is a good one, too. Strong right from the start - that stuff about the "Sniffer"! 8)

What about "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"?

The average rating for that movie was 6.1/10. The movie was almost a failure in todays society. What does that tell you, eh?

LOTR Trilogy and the Blade Trilogy own.

Given these choices I say Star Wars.

Where is the Lord of the Rings?

I really enjoyed The Rebel Angels... hadn't even realized there were two more until some time ago, but I haven't gotten around to them yet.

Lord of the Rings all the way (even though it's not on the list) closely followed by Star Wars

...Speaking of lists, um, just out of curiosity.....WHAT THE HECK IS THE SCREAM TRILOGY DOING ON THE LIST WHEN LOTR ISN'T ON THERE ?!!!! PDT_Armataz_01_35

Exactly how do you consider a series of five books to be a trilogy?

I voted for Back to the Future, just because it's the only trilogy on the list that I could watch over and over again and not get tired of.

kaetz @ Fri Mar 03, 2006 10:06 am

I side with you here, Moogle!

WolfSinger @ Tue Mar 07, 2006 12:34 am

Well, since the Lord of the Rings Trilogy isn't one of the choices, I'd have to go with the Blade Trilogy as being one of the best I've seen. [B-o]

BN, if you enjoyed The Rebel Angels you'll also like the second and third installments of the Cornish Trilogy, What's Bred In The Bone and The Lyre Of Orpheus. Especially What's Bred In The Bone, which is my favourite book by Davies (I haven't read all of 'em).....

Man it looks like LOTR wins hands down. lol

We just finished having a marathon ourselves, watched all the Extended dvds. (Can't go back to the original theatre versions once you've seen the extendeds)

I definitely vote LOTR myself.

'We set out to save the Shire Sam, and we did. But not for me.'---gets me EVERY time.

And you gotta love the banter between Legolas and Gimli! lol

ash_wednesday @ Tue Mar 14, 2006 3:33 am

I'll go with the Star Wars as the best one of them all.

Once again, i'm sorry that lord of the rings is not in the poll, because i tried to do it in a hurry because i was doing it in the middle of class at college. I tried to edit it, but it wouldn't let me for some reason. So, once again, sorry man. 8)
