Which trilogy do you prefer. Mine has got to be the Godfather trilogy. 8)
( i'm well aware that the Star Wars trilogy is technically not a trilogy).

I'm sorry about missing some of the trilogys. I was trying to put up this poll at my college in the middle of class, and i did remember the Lord of the Rings trilogy, i tried to edit the poll to put it in, but it wouldn't let me for some reason. i kept getting an error message sayingthere was a bug in my message or something like that, but i did remember it. I DID. As for the Indiana trilogy, i had no idea it was a trilogy. Sorry about that. 8)

Canadaka @ Tue Feb 07, 2006 7:21 am

did you try editing it today?

jazzman @ Tue Feb 07, 2006 7:24 am

Yes. As a matter of fact, i tried to edit it about 5 minutes after putting it up.

lol it turned out to be so different from what i used to imagine when reading! i hardly belive such stories can be well shot... and obviously cannot suit everyone, however i can understand what you admire
i picked back to the future, it sets me at rest
gofather doen't work just cause of the ending as bad as the beginning was good. This movie wasn't a tissue to wipe one's nose and throw it away, would pick it if it had not been a tril... ehm... but it makes no sence within the thread

Kieslowski's Blue, White, and Red.

I think for action trilogy, Terminator was the best. T1 and T2 rank among the best action movies ever made, and T3 was pretty good. I agree it was the weakest of the three, but it still was a good movie and had great F/X.

The first two Godfathers were awesome, but the third one just plain stunk, so I couldn't vote for it.

Only the first Matrix movie was any good. The sequels that followed were like most sequels, total crap made hastily for big bucks.

I loved the Back to the Future trilogy and they ranks as some of the best comedies ever made IMO.

The original Star Wars trilogy was the greatest ever, but those last three that Lucas made ruined them all for me.

I can't believe they made a third Blade movie after that second one. Truly awful...

Personally, in the horror genre, I think the Jaws trilogy was far better thean the Scream trilogy.

I'll give the nod to the Lord of the Rings as the best fantasy trilogy (probably the only one), but it's not as good as Indiana Jones, the original three Star Wars or Terminator.

And I also agree that Indiana Jones needs to be on the list. Temple of Doom might have been a little weak, but the Last Crusade was awesome!

What ever happened to literacy? Pop and I were discussing the Mutiny on the Bounty-Men Against The Sea-Pitcairn Island trilogy on Sunday.

I gotta go with the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I don't know which movies bootlegga and crazycanuck were watching, but those were great movies.

I do love the 1st part of the Matrix trilogy as well.

Nope. I zonked out for half the first one, didn't bother with the other two.

"Lord of the Rings" hands down. But "The Hobbit" should be in there to make it actually 4 stories.
