We can't just keelhaul everyone.
You won't know until you try.

Hmmmm..... compelling argument. And there are only so many Yardarms.
That's why we have streetlights. We got
lots of those.

He needs to be keel hauled.
We can't just keelhaul everyone. Some people need to be hung from the Yardarm.
We have plenty of ships on the east coast we can “process “ them all, the barnacles wouldn’t mind.
Have you thought about the shark's feelings about you chumming the water with sex offenders and pedophiles? No, you have not.

We could feed the chum from thes dirtbags to the Asian Carp.
Weinstein may be a particularly distasteful example of how opportunist we humans can be but it’s hardly surprising that at least one of his accusers isn’t perfect either, allegedly, as Colbert says:
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2018/a ... y-bourdain
Although the chronology will take some time to figure out exactly, my initial sympathy is with Bourdain here and, of course, the victim. He seems to have been caught out by his girlfriend on the wrong side of a fight he had already spoken about and apparently believed in. I hope that did not contribute to his abrupt exit. Actresses...can I still say that word? One thing religion got right - hom sap is a fallen creature.
Harvey Weinstein 'sexually assaulted a 16-year-old Polish model in his apartment' just days after they met, court papers say
Disgraced Hollywood producer allegedly sexually assaulted the 16-year-old girl in his New York apartment in 2002
Woman claims Weinstein forced her to touch his penis during what she thought was a business meeting about her aspirations to be an actress
Court papers filed in Manhattan on Wednesday claim Weinstein went on to harass the woman for nearly a decade
It also alleges that he blocked her from having a successful career
Weinstein's lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, slammed the allegations 'preposterous'

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... model.htmlDespite what has transpired up to this point and much to the chagrin of some members of this forum, the "Je'accuse" method of finding guilt still hasn't become the legal standard in the US. So, if these women want to put this "alleged" pervert behind bars they'd better get reliable and honest witnesses along with evidence so, the accusation can be proven beyond a "reasonable" doubt in court. Because as we've seen in other cases, claiming that someone sexually assaulted you years after the fact doesn't constitute guilt especially when you have zero proof except your accusation.
I'm sorry but, the me2 movement along with the Democratic Party stalwarts like Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters have, through their playing of politics in a high profile sexual assault case caused enough doubt to be brought into every accusation that getting a finding of guilt will now and going forward be extremely difficult, even against people with multiple accusations like Harvey Weinstein.

It just did for civil court.
Harvey Weinstein reaches $25m civil court deal with more than 30 sexual assault accusers but he WON'T have to admit wrongdoing nor pay out of his own pocket
Shamed Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has reached a tentative $25million civil settlement with dozens of his alleged sexual misconduct victims
Following a two year legal fight, the proposed civil settlement has obtained preliminary approval from all the major parties involved
The claimants – which include more than 30 actresses and ex-Weinstein employees would share the payout, along with any other future accusers
As a result, the settlement would essentially bring an end to every civil suit filed against him and his former company, pending a court approval and final sign off
The $25million in reparations would be paid by various insurance companies representing the now-bankrupt Weinstein Company
Weinstein is still set to be tried in Manhattan next month on charges of sexual assault involving two women
Weinstein has repeatedly denied any non-consensual sexual activity

It is, as usual, for the women (and the lawyers) only about one thing at the end.
Ka ching
Oh, great!
Now, alls the good-guys needs to do is finds them a jury of 12 "peers" who have not heard nor seen anything remotely related to this saga and they can send the bad-guys to jail!
'I feel remorse for all the men going through the #MeToo fight': Rapist Harvey Weinstein's astonishing last dig at his accusers before he is jailed for 23 years as his emotional accusers celebrate justice and his lawyer blasts the sentence as 'obscene'
Note to all men:
Yes Harv is a slimeball.
What is important to remember is that he was convicted
with ZERO physical evidence.
Remember that during your next encounter.
Precedence is a bitch.

Exactly.
Progressive NY has now just set the standard or lack there of for sexual assault convictions. Now, when California follows suit, (which it will by convicting this slimeball with no physical or witness evidence) it should finally show that the American judicial system has succumbed to the #MeToo movement and adopted the French Revolution standard of "Je Accuse" to garner their convictions.

"J'accuse"...
Thanos @ Wed Mar 11, 2020 1:43 pm
Guess the months-long trial they just had with dozens of victims and witnesses that were aggressively cross-examined by the defense and a jury of twelve citizens rendering a verdict is all the proof that anyone will need that a fix rooted in obvious misandry was in from the very beginning.
