Look like they're making the same mistake the first D&D movie did by having a couple of wacky smart-mouth thieves as the focal point of the film. I'd like it to do good but, as opposed to LOTR or GOT, D&D might be too innately goofy & outright childish at it's core to succeed in movie or on TV. The opposite of grimdark doesn't necessarily have to be dumb-ass.
Batgirl won't see the light of day after Warner Bros. cancels release
Not even straight to streaming. Probably a good call.
This is on Disney+ now and it was amazing!
I can't recall the last war movie that took place during the Korean War other than M*A*S*H.
Looks decent too.

Prey was very good, especially the way having a Native female lead who wasn't pure cannon fodder pissed the hell out of the incels and others of that sort. Guess they thought she should have been like Galadriel was apparently supposed to be for her entire life, doing nothing but playing the harp & weaving tapestries, and making sure that dinner was ready on time for the Great Man of the family. The first Predator with Arnie remains the best. But Predators was also very good IMO. Prey is easily the third best in the franchise. All the other ones though are pretty much total shit unfortunately.
Black Adam hit the illegal torrents last night. Contrary to internet opinion it doesn't suck. It's a typical superhero movie though with nothing much that stands out or has anything special about it. It's worth watching at least once but it won't generate any lasting fond memories. It's not actively bad the way far too many of the DC movies have been, but it's also really just a rehash of that which has already been done and seen multiple times over the last fifteen years. It's made enough money to earn a sequel so the main character will most likely be a large part of whatever plans DC/Warner has for the reboot of their movie properties. It's an OK part of the ongoing trend of the current times, but it (just like pretty much all the other superhero films are) really shouldn't be mistaken for anything as groundbreaking as Star Wars was. 6/10 as far as I'm concerned. Meh, whatever.
