Maybe I missed something on that trailer but that's not Venom, that's Spider-Man and the black suit that he wore during the Secret Wars. The suit tries to take over him but he gets rid of it. Venom is a totally different character with Eddie Brock.

But wouldn't the kryptonite prevent him from being the 'Man of Steel'?
