Once again the visuals look simply amazing. I’ll watch it, but I’ll probably be just as annoyed by Jared Harris’s character as jaws in the first season.
So, Strange New Worlds. Once again Star Trek knocks it out of the park with a show that really wasn't about the show, but about what is going on right here, right now.

Well executed.
Agree. They’re doing Trek so well. Far far better than Discovery.
Ok, a Star Trek crossover episode? I thought it was really well done.
For those who haven't seen it, Lower Decks, an animated series was crossed into Strange New Worlds.
Also, Strange New Worlds; you had the chance to Destroy Toronto and you waffled.
Just watched the crossover episode, and damn if it wasn’t well done. They found just the right balance of each show and it was a ton of fun. So many clever in jokes.
Especially at the end when Ransom compliments Boimler on his commander Una poster. Because I didn’t know it till I read it later, but Jerry o donnel who voices Ransom, is Rebecca Romijn’s husband irl. Good stuff.

I didn't know that. Good humour! There were so many zingers in the show it'll take a few times watching it to catch them all.
I'm actually not a fan of Lower Decks. I saw it as so not serious that I couldn't take it seriously. Not that it's bad, it's just not for me. I watched the first season, and part of the second, then decided I just didn't need to watch it. I do that, like with "The Flash". I watched "Arrow" to the end, but then found "Supergirl" and "The Flash" was just a waste of time. I wasn't invested in the shows. And they got too procedural and predictable to be entertaining.
Didn't even start Batgirl or that other one, Stargirl??
Fooled me real good! Thought it was a listing error in the guide and got pissed off and walked away... then I hear the voices and rush back to the tube.
I thought it was just okay... a little over ambitious to mix animated series characters into the story. Too 'light' of a plot among the series more serious story lines, specially being followed by Episode 8
And I like Lower Decks because it is so zany and adept at poking fun at the Star Trek universe. Like the one episode where they team up with a bigger ship, and one of officers tried to get on the Cerritos because he’s tired of doing epic things every week
So, I hate episodes like "Strange New Worlds the Musical", but I know they are only made so they can devote more time and resources to season finales like that.

Fuck!
I didn’t care for it either, though props to the cast for showing off their vocal range.
And that finale….. !!!!!!
Did they hire TNG writers for one episode to drop a cliffhanger like that!? Argh!!!
