Just finished Ted Lasso.
I don't conform to your schedules.
Like Sense8, I am going to rewatch that show just to make me happy.
I've started watching Abbot Elementary myself lately. It's a bit like Ted Lasso in that it's funny, but still wholesome in a satisfying way.
Trivia time.
The last couple episodes of Foundation were directed by Roxanne Dawson, who played B'Elanna Torres on Star Trek: Voyager. Her daughter, Rosario Dawson plays Ashoka.
I saw her name and kept meaning to look it up to see if she was the same person. Good for her.
But she’s not related in any way to Rosario Dawson. It’s one of the rare cases where people with the same name in show business aren’t related.
I must have read something wrong. I recall an article saying they were related.
Might just be the oncoming Alzheimers.
Meh. It's an easy assumption to make. Show business is such a family business.
Also, I'm sad to see the end of this season of Foundation. They producers really kicked things up a notch this season and all for the better, probably because of all the major book deviations. IIRC, they producers said they have five seasons mapped out, so hopefully they get to make them, whenever the SAG/WGA strike ends.
It was a pretty good story arc. And Day bit it.
In shorts no less. Fitting.
Things get serious this week in a really solid The Wheel of Time episode
Loki season two from Marvel/Disney started last night.
Gen V, the spin-off for The Boys, started last week. It's totally whack, just as blood-soaked as the mothership series is. The scene with Little Cricket and the small-penis guy is one for the ages. Jayzus....
Battlebots!
