As we are retired and money will not be a problem we wont need much more than a route out of Quebec, however i'm open to suggestions what do you have in mind?
Depending on the provincial economics the 'have' provinces are more likely to have a lower total tax cost than a 'have not' province. As a retired individual on a fixed (?) income that may be relevant. In your later posts you pointed out that you had relatives around Ottawa and Halifax, which may be an over riding reason to move there. OR it could be an over riding reason to move somewhere else.
You can choose your friends, relatives have fewer options.
