He does have a plan. He's been working that plan for the past 2 and half years. It's the oppositions job to put something different forward.

No it isn't. Since parliment dissolved he is no longer the govt and its his responsibility to put forth his own plan for climate action.

PS. You did not vote for Chretien ever. I don't believe that in the least because anybody who did before wouldn't be screaming about every single thing the Liberals did from 93 on.

You are lying.

'nuff said.

Harper's environmental plan has been panned by every environmentalist and most of the economists who have looked at it. He still hasn't told us what it would cost either, in fact he said that he wouldn't tell us until after the election, but that cost is likely to be substantial because he will have to set up a whole new department to monitor emissions.

Whatever Derby. You're going to tell me who I voted for 15 years ago and claim that you know my voting record better than me. Are you really that insane or Nostrodamuses son?

Chretien was a good leader until he became corrupt. Martin was a good finnace minister but a brutal PM.

Unlike you I have an open mind and can change it. You my friend are so brainwashed that Dion could crap on a plate and call it fudge and you would gladly eat it if it would help the Liberals regain power.

Yes I am. I don't believe people who say they voted for people all these years (including the last election as you said out of fear of a con majority) then turn around and vilify everything they did from the moment they entered office.

You are no different then the other "forum experts" who appeared a few weeks before the last election telling everybody they were a loyal Liberal but now everybody just has to vote conservative.

Former Liberals go NDP. They don't go conservative and conservatives only support conservatives.

You are simply using dishonesty to muddy the waters my kool-aid drinking brainwashed conservative pal.

Something Harper and his supporters on here are desperately trying to avoid talking about eh?

Your quote just proves how ignorant you are. Two elections ago, the Conservatives had about 25% support. Now they have 37%. The NDP has 20% and the Libs 22%. Your numbers do not add up Derby. Perhaps math is not your strong suit.

Do I really need to explain to you that the Conservatives and the NDP have significantly more support than 2 elections ago and the Libs have less.

I will type slowly so that you can follow along...

EX LIBERAL SUPPORTERS ARE GOING TO THE CONSERVATIVES. (I'm one of many Derby) And to a lesser extent the NDP.

The phrase.. "Didn't get it done" comes to mind for some reason..

Actually I posted about this during the last election. If you look at total votes via left and right then its pretty much stagnant.

The Cons are benefitting from vote splitting just as the Libs did when there were multiple right wing parties.

Ex-Liberals go NDP or even green.

You were never a Liberal.

The red book had 79% of its promises kept.

Harper 50%

Looks to me who didn't get it done is evident.

Then where did the Conservatives get their additional 12% of votes from?

Great math Derby. 2 elections ago the Conservatives had 25% of the votes and now because of "vote splitting" they have 37%??

Harper has not kept many of his election promises.. perhaps the GSt cut which did squat for the average guy.. he has went back on is word more than enough.. proves you cant trust him..

Harper has a plan alright, and he has muzzled every con MP running to say nothing in regard to it, or anything else they have up their sleeves for that matter.

If Dion was an honest politician, then we would promise to give us tax breaks first, then green shaft us. But its never been his intention to be revenue nuetral.
