I wonder how many left NDPers would start voting green if the NDP joined with the Liberals.
I wonder how many Orange Quebecers would go back to being block heads if the NDP and Liberals joined.

On the topic of how we elect a government I must agree, I find the idea of first past the post PM voting selection to be rather outdated. Many other options for selection are around which wouldn't have been viable due to communication lag and trasportation lag times when the rulers for how we elect people were set up.

New Zealand has an Mixed proport. system, seems to work well for them. It'll be some time before that flies here. Remember Ontario rejected it soundly a few years ago, and they were well informed.

All citizens, with the mental competence to be punished for a criminal action. Of note criminals that are in jail at the time of the election, and people below the modern 'adult' age of 18/19/21. If a person can be found at fault and punishable for criminal actions then they should have the right to have a legal say in the nature of government.

I've never been on this forum before now. I didn't realize this forum was such a hotbed of Harper support.

I like the comment about being happy with a Liberal or NDP less than 40% majority. A little part of me is hoping that the Liberals will win with 38/39% so we can do the same whining and moaning for the next 4 years, and point out their hypocrisy.

Why would you presume anyone here would accept you as an authority/expert enough to listen to you when we haven't a clue who you are or what credentials/experience you have?

Like I said back on page 1, I bet you had no issues with the Liberals winning majorities with UNDER 40% support.
