Delwin Delwin:
The Nuremberg Race Laws of 1935 deprived German Jews of their rights of citizenship, giving them the status of "subjects" in Hitler's Reich. The laws also made it forbidden for Jews to marry or have sexual relations with Aryans or to employ young Aryan women as household help. (An Aryan being a person with blond hair and blue eyes of Germanic heritage.)

I know, nothing like that could ever happen...

and they banned guns just like someone else wants

breaking those laws is essentially a political statement

You sure they allow you to use the internet from 99 queen st ?

Is this coming from the same person who said that they could take his weapon away one bullet at a time?

I realize that all internet arguments eventually degrade into someone being compared to Hitler, but lets just leave that for later

Maybe the Liberals just want to feather their nests a bit for the election and resulting house cleaning. :D

do you know what 99 Queen st was ?

Delwin @ Mon Jan 02, 2006 10:36 pm

Well you stand by it and that was my whole point, it is the duty of a just person to disobey what they feel are unjust laws. This being the case, justice is but a matter of perception. The rule of law is meant to stay in the hands of the majority. If we ensure that every citizen retains the right to vote regardless if we think that the law was just or not, then we protect ourselves from unjust laws. Justice being the view of the majority.

Yes, but since you implied that you would break a law in order to disobey what you think is unjust, you are making a political statement with your crime and are clearly in as much need of mental health as I am.

Banning a handgun to protect a thug is wrong. The Liberals have no balls to do the right thing, that’s why they are going to lose this election.

If you feel the guy that shot the girl on Dec 26 has the right to vote in this upcoming election, you have serious problem that I can’t help you with.

Your logic is so messed I don’t want to continue this conversation with a lunatic like you. Have fun in you’re rose colored world.

Delwin @ Mon Jan 02, 2006 10:50 pm

That's good, I really don't want to have a conversation with someone who contradicts himself on almost every insulting point he tries to make.

ridenrain @ Mon Jan 02, 2006 10:51 pm

I'll bite on the 99 Queen st. What is it?

Delwin @ Mon Jan 02, 2006 10:54 pm

It is the former site of a mental health facility in Toronto. When passing by, there were usually large crowds of "unusual" people gathered out front...

For the record Delwin, it was 999 Queen St, not 99. It was changed to 1001 Queen St when the mental-case lobby decided the original number had developed a stigma because of the notorious nature of that institution. (Don't ask me what to do when the number 1001 gets a stigma attached to it as it so surely will-that's for the looney left at Toronto City Council to figure out!)

And also for the record, it's not a "former site". The place is still there and it's still full of Parkdale's finest specimens.

Delwin @ Mon Jan 02, 2006 11:56 pm

I stand corrected.
