Of course it was made up. That was the point. Did you see the disclaimer at the top of the post? It was meant to mimic the kind of wild statements made by CPC pimps to anything any Liberal ever says.

It was actually in the post before your last that I had referenced. Fair enough though, should I presume everything you write in the future is under a banner of BS?

When there is a disclaimer. The post you referenced was continuing in the allegorical nature of your post with regards to SSM/woman in the workplace.

I'll step up here. I'm a work at home dad... that means I do three jobs at the same time. I get to hang out with the mom set a lot. There are some rad mom's out there. There are also a lot of scared girls that had a hard time getting into the top half of their class. If they can find a good cowboy like you to take care of them, I feel sorrey for them. but hey, each to their own.

I'm sure that makes sense to you but I don't see the point of your last part of the statement.

USCAdad USCAdad:
I think if you polled anyone the'd at least say they'd like to be home with their children. I've actually found a way of doing it. Have you?

I employ 26 people in Edmonton. My company is expanding and I expect to hire another 15 in April. I have a duty to my family and to the families of my employees who depend on me to ensure their paycheques are covered and their mortgages are paid. I belief I have struck a fair balanace between the two and spend far far more time with my children then any of my peers. Furthermore, I pay 26 mortgages each month, 15 car payments and have to feed over 100 people. You only take care of one family so it is not a fair comparison.

USCAdad USCAdad:
So you don't have any problem with kids being subjected to bigotry at a young age.... how Christian of you.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about here. Please expand.

That PC government has always worried me . Their track record just doesn't make anything about them appealing. I'm not even sure if they make much of a good opposition anymore . Before I age and die I'd like to see something new outside of the back and forth heads or tails coin toss of living half a generation with liberal and the other conservative with both members running back and forth depending on who's in . If it wasn't for Preston Manning the Conservatives would no longer exist and scandals would have never been an issue to the liberals . How does a lberal minority with a Bloc opposition sound ?It might not be a great thing but it's something new . Maybe worth checking out and if we don't like it we can force an early election . :D

Stephen Harper believes that a womans place is in the kitchen and the only work they should be doing is housework and domestic chores.

I think Stephen believes that women should have a choice and not be forced into the workplace against their will.

Wow, when can I have that choice? As far as I know, nobody can make that choice.

In the 1960s you or your parents paid 16 % of their income to taxes. Food, clothing, and shelter took a bigger share of their income as a percentage and taxes placed fourth. Under the "just society" we have built the average Canadian pays well over 50% making taxes their largest expenditure and forcing families into positions requiring dual income earners to meet this obligation especially if they wish to carry on the Canadian tradition of each generation being wealthier than the previous.

IceOwl IceOwl:
Of course, when these women that choose not to join the workforce become single moms living on welfare because they don't have the skills to get a job that pays well enough to feed more mouths than her own, you'll be bitching and whining about that too.

This statement is just ignorant and is more telling of a society in which no fault divorce has removed the stigma of men abandoning their obligations then in support of forcing women who would rather raise their children into the workplace.

I'm for new. I wouldn't mind seeing more representational governments either. There's no doubt the system does need a bit of tweeking.

Agreed. The Progressive Conservatives ("PC") were no different than the lieberals and there was no clear choice for Canadians.

The Libranos are the most corrupt government in Canadian histroy and their antics are well documented. The fact that you would vote for them and encourage a party which advocates the end of Confederation as we know it to be their opposition speaks volumes not only of you but why Canadians find themselves in the current mess they are in.

equating his knowledge of groceries to that of being able to lead a the country...thats priceless.... LMFAO!!!

How ever his family works is none of our damn business, mkay?

grainfedprairieboy @ Sun Dec 18, 2005 4:06 pm

I'm sure the PM, with his responsibilities to the nation, social functions, endless briefing and consultations spends a couple of days a week buying groceries for the chef, cleaning supplies for the maid and gets under the ole hood of the limo to change the oil for the chauffeur. I think We are starting to see the beginnings of the lieberal mud-slinging campaign hoping something, anything will stick.

Like I said in a previous thread, the bumbling idiots are grasping at straws.
