I was talking about “eggregious affront to democracy”
That hasn't happened either. Trudeau tried to influence the Director of Public Prosecutions, but failed. Democracy is intact.
Semantics. Trying to influence is an affront.
'Trying to influence' is the heart of politics. That's why the legislative and judicial branches are separate, so there can be no influence between them.
That's also why Harper's spat with the SCoC I mentioned earlier was so important. Normally, there is no comment on either side.

I am taken aback.

I am too?

This is becoming a pretty good scandal. It's too bad the GG can't just jettison Trudeau for his many egregious affronts to Canadian Democracy.
That’s the funny thing about democracy. You can’t just “jettison” someone. Also nowhere has any “eggregious affront to democracy” been established
But the USA should impeach Donald Trump for no other reason than that a bunch of pantywaisted snowflakes don't like him.
Uh-huh.
See, when people like yourself started demanding that Trump resign, be impeached, or even assassinated
for being a big meanie then you also set the stage for YOUR leaders to be ousted for frivolous reasons.
You've sown the wind and now you get to reap the whirlwind.

Meh, you're talking to the same guy who bitches about right-wing extremism and then defends Trudeau's decision to allow a bunch of genocidal right-wing extremists back into the country.

I'm a flawed human being. I'm sorry.

You're one of the better people I know.

Why thank you.
Some fiery stuff here!
Trudeau's verbal porridge and serene smile have carried him along. Until now: Neil Macdonald
I've never heard some speak so much and have so little to say.
