The seperation card must work when played right,as the bloc now has the leader of the NDP and the libs by the nads.

do we Westerners really want to separate? personally I think it would be a mistake, there is a lot of things wrong with Canada, but there are even more things they got right, I love Canada, and being Canadian. We bitch and moan about Quebec wanting to separate, so why does it make it alright for us to want to separate? Personally I think anyone who wants to break up this nation is a Traitor and needs to be hung.
Same as the people who have no respect for how people voted,if our vote means nothing then why are we even holding elections?

Coalition Governments have happened in the past, do I agree with this Coalition? not one bit. Do I believe we should start carving up the country because we disagree with some childish play to replace the Government? Absolutely not. that is what I am saying, we vote because this is a democracy, you disagree with the Coalition, then do the democratic thing and write/visit your MP tell him what you think. sitting around stewing and bitching won't change a thing. The West will not separate, Quebec will not separate, contrary to popular belief.

I've lived in the west all my life, the majority of it in Alberta. I would prefer to keep my Canada as it is, however, I can certainly understand and empathize with those that would opt for separation. At the end of the day, I would have to say that any decision I make about this, will be based on what the best thing for me and my home will be.

EXCELLENT!
In fact, I think ALL Canadian flags should be removed,( until such time as we once again have a DEMOCRATICALLY VOTED political party in power). The exception being the flag on Parliament Hill. That one should be flown 'upside down' as we truly are 'a country in distress'!
