The seperation card must work when played right,as the bloc now has the leader of the NDP and the libs by the nads.

do we Westerners really want to separate? personally I think it would be a mistake, there is a lot of things wrong with Canada, but there are even more things they got right, I love Canada, and being Canadian. We bitch and moan about Quebec wanting to separate, so why does it make it alright for us to want to separate? Personally I think anyone who wants to break up this nation is a Traitor and needs to be hung.

Same as the people who have no respect for how people voted,if our vote means nothing then why are we even holding elections?

Dont think people are going to roll over and take one up the ass from this coalition.

Coalition Governments have happened in the past, do I agree with this Coalition? not one bit. Do I believe we should start carving up the country because we disagree with some childish play to replace the Government? Absolutely not. that is what I am saying, we vote because this is a democracy, you disagree with the Coalition, then do the democratic thing and write/visit your MP tell him what you think. sitting around stewing and bitching won't change a thing. The West will not separate, Quebec will not separate, contrary to popular belief.

I tend to stew and bitch when something important as a vote is pissed on because of someones hunger for power at any cost.

Tell me why I voted 6 weeks ago?

llama66 @ Tue Dec 02, 2008 12:45 am

the same reason I did? to have the right to bitch :P [B-o]

I guess we'll see. Next year Alberta is going to see a down turn the likes of which they haven't seen since the 80's.

Yeah but this time it's going to be more fun to share the experience with all the easterners that moved out here.

I have a house rented to an late middle aged couple from Ontario, when I picked up the rent today she was asking for advice on what could happen here now.

I hope you scared the crap(LIBERAL) out of her with some horror stories from the 80's :P

like the 74 that told Dion to F off?

The CPC has regressed into the Alberta Bloc party and the Bloc is now what the CPC was.

The difference is the Alberta party isn't chicken shit and beat around the bush for 40 years :P

Because Harper ignored his own rules and called an early election?

How soon we forget.

So that means my vote didnt count for anything?

Maybe $1.95.... unless Harper reneged again?

They can scrap that entitlement,I'll send them a twoonie.

I guess Riden was right when he said nothing gets in between a lib and his entitlements.

Your $1.95 is going to a Lib? 8O

They have been broke for awhile so I can spare a twoonie for Dion. He'll just give half of it to the bloc anyways.

I've lived in the west all my life, the majority of it in Alberta. I would prefer to keep my Canada as it is, however, I can certainly understand and empathize with those that would opt for separation. At the end of the day, I would have to say that any decision I make about this, will be based on what the best thing for me and my home will be.

I've lived in Alberta all my life and I'm really tired of the BS this province has taken from the ROC in the last 40 years.

Today I am an Albertan first and a Canadian second the Canadian flag in my back yard was taken down today, I have a feeling it will never see the light of day again.

ziggy @ Tue Dec 02, 2008 1:12 am

Hang it upside down

EXCELLENT! R=UP In fact, I think ALL Canadian flags should be removed,( until such time as we once again have a DEMOCRATICALLY VOTED political party in power). The exception being the flag on Parliament Hill. That one should be flown 'upside down' as we truly are 'a country in distress'!
