Western Seperation only a matter of time

I just looked out my kitchen window 2 of my neighbors who are always flying the Canadian Flag are now flying Alberta [B-o]

Western separation is just a few loudmouths in a bar blowing off steam. It's never been a serious issue for more than a few thousand people, and I hardly see this as the issue to ignite it now.

This, as always, is a non-issue.

I am getting so damn tired of all this bitching coming from the West and Quebec, adn waht does it always boil down to? "We're pissed off. We're so pissed off, that we're going to threaten to seperate because we didn't get what we want or someone did something that we don't like."

I honestly do not know what's worse.....the attitudes coming from "Canadians" these days, or that collective comment from the Republican Party about Nancy Pelosi "hurting their feelings."

Grow up already. Be better than the five year olds stuck in 60 year old bodies on Parliament Hill. All these attitudes coming from Quebecers and Westerners are really nothing more than pissy comments and a selfish attitude. It does nothing for the collective good of the country.

And yes, I know that most of you are just going to brush this off, or insult me back, or tell me how unfair representation in the West is, but for the love of God, those are the same comments coming from Quebec! Yes, I know the west ahs had problems, but for Fuck's sake, get over it already! You guys think you're the only ones who ahd it rough? Like come on, let's all move past this bullshit attitude of "We're pissed off, so let's seperate". Insteading of threatening seperatism, do what tehy used to do and PROTEST. Hell, hijack a train, send it to Ottawa, and raise some fucking hell. Actually do something about it instead of moping around, screaming and kicking like a teething baby. Petition your MP's and Parliament to do something about all this crap and unfairness, instead of saying: "It's all the East's fault! Those bastards! I've had enough of their shit! let's seperate!"

Western Separation?

What a load of crap!

As a lifelong westerner and predominantly Conservative supporter, I’d move east before voting for separation.

You clowns who want to take your ball and go home because Harper blew it big time need serious counselling.

Like it or not, every Member of Parliament is elected (excluding those that Harper appointed), and have a right to be there. It’s a minority government. The guy I voted for is Conservative and it looks like he’s about to be seated on the opposition benches again. Based on the party’s actions lately, they deserve it.

First of all, the choice of Prime Minister is not a truly democratic process. The winning party decides. Not the individual voter at election time.

The MAJORITY of votes from the last election went to other than Conservative members. As a Conservative, I hoped for more, and expected the party I voted for to be able to play nice for the benefit of ALL Canadians. The leadership and in particular Harper seems incapable of doing so.

The Bloc REPRESENTS the MAJORITY of Quebec members. We can all thank Mr. Mulroney for that little problem. He got into bed with them and that’s how he won his massive majority. Not one of the Conservatives better decisions. Like it or not, they’re there legally.

The fact the Libs, NDP and Bloc can actually sit down together and talk is the most positive thing I’ve seen coming out of Ottawa in years. Maybe they’ll do better, maybe they won’t.

There’s no question in my mind my party has its collective head up its own ass this time and should have done better.

The collective group of morons suggesting separation or suggesting the proposed coalition is traitorous should climb into their pickup truck and move to Utah where the other radical paranoids live plotting for the overthrow of various governments. I certainly don’t want you in my country.
