Thanks!

That helped - I'm now, way passed the square, passed the sniper and on my way, won't be back for many a day, dayyy-o. . . . :D :D

Veteran Level - D-Day Landing

So far I've managed to clear the nearest trench, take out the first big gun, go underground, obtain the loaded sniper rifle and clear out the bunker - then get killed, killed and killed again and encore as well - then it's back to the top of the cliff - where are the checkpoints - or should I just patiently await the arrival of March 10th and Ghost Recon. . . .

You should have the sniper rifle at the top of the cliff because you've had on the beach. The only thing is that you need to stop at another sniper rifle on the beach to get it's ammunition. That's a tough segment anyway, because it's quite a battle to get to the next check point and it seems you get close but when you get killed you're way back at the cliff.

What I do when starting on the cliff is go the right and with the sniper rifle pick of the gunners on the big gun. If nothing else it makes it a much quieter game. Then proceed through that trench in front of you till you get to the guy who's just been blown up. I toss a grenade around this time and wait for them to come out. If you time it right you won't need to fire a shot. There's a second group hanging around the blown out entrance to the bunker which another grenade takes care of. I assume this is the bunker you've been through and have cleared out. Once cleared out you'll need to head out through the bunker into an area shaped like a bowl. There's a trench running along the left going to the centre of this bowl area and a concrete wall to the left with a mound in front. Come out of the bunker and go to the right all the way against the wall and stay low. In the trench you'll briefly see a couple of heads that pop up and start shooting you. Be ready with the sniper rifle and between the explosions of dirt around them, pick them off. If you don't see them right away move around a bit and they will pop up, but be ready to hit the dirt behind the mound. Once you finally get the guy on the right, you may also need to take out the gunners on the big gun firing and making all the noise. After doing all that switch back to a machine gun toss another grenade into the trench in front of you just in case. Right after it explodes, hit the trench get low and start moving left by clearing it out. There should only be a few left there anyway but once you've cleared it move to the end of that trench and meet up with a few others. There you'll need to keep low and pick off who ever you need to, to get out of the trench and clear the bunker close by. It should save around that point and you won't have to go back to the cliff. I always find in this game that if you run into a real problem, flank the problem from the widest possible position.

Canadaka Canadaka:
I split these posts away from the other topic, lol a little off topic.

now you may continue.

I love COD2, i'll take any of yah anyday!

The Canada Kicks Ass Clan =CKA= is starting to get into COD2, we had a practice tonight, we are going to start competing soon.

http://clan.canadaka.ca
Is anyone playing this online?

Canadaka @ Wed Mar 22, 2006 11:20 pm

yes the =CKA= clan was over 200 members people often play COD2 on our server.

name: CANADAKICKSASS
ip: cod2.canadaka.ca

But its best to be part of the clan and we all use Xfire and Teamspeak to see whois online and to talk to each other.

Xfire is like a game instant messanger. It shows your friends list and what game they are playing. So if you see someone playing a game, you can join them.

We use Teamspeak to communicate with each other.

We recently started having matches and practices for COD2

Our official practice night is Tuesdays, and usualy people play SUndays.

Just finished a few weeks of a COD2 bender. Great PC game.
I'd have liked to see some more options but the graphics are great.
Any leads on realism servers? I refuse to bunny hop even if it works.

I play online all the time! Haven't seen anyone on the CKA server though. There are some great servers and great people on it. Which one have you been playing ridenrain?
