Haven't beat it yet thoiugh I don't have much time for gaming these days, I borrowed mine off of my neighbor, I think they made it so short because they want it to be more of a MMP type game.
I'm enjoying what I did play, waiting to get Left 4 Dead 2 for Christmas.

I'm not sure, but once you reach the Rio level, maybe you'll face the same frustration I've faced. I recommend shooting every glass window or door. If they don't have that lame bullet hole animation, you should expect somebody popping out

Will do, I just finished the Airport level last night before the wife called me for something or other and I had to shut it off, must say I was disappointed that I had to kill all those innocent people just to get shot myself.

Yeah. I shot the bad guys during my first run, only to realize you can't kill them off after killing one.

I didn't bother shooting at all, to be honest. Kinda...blech. You're close though to the level I'm talking about. You'll see how mind numbingly frustrating it is.

The Washington levels are nice. Short, but nice. I really wanted more, to be honest.

Also, a few Easter eggs I found was the Hotel Six call sign for a transport helicopter (a la World in Conflict) and the USS Dallas for a named submarine (a la Tom Clancy).

True, it is short, but it is sweet. Just like the first MW, the replayability is in the multiplayer. Though to be honest, I don't care too much for about half of the multiplayer maps.

Trying to get 3 stars on every mission now. Alpha and Bravo completed.

It's nuts! I love it. So, anyone getting together for some multiplayer? I need a second for some of those missions too.

I just got my playstation 3 and MW2 last night. Who has it for the PS3?

EyeBrock @ Mon Dec 07, 2009 6:53 pm

Why did they have the airport massacre level? I'm sorry, I'm all for killing bad guys but having a game that requires you having to shoot women and children just isn't right.

Rented and not buying.

Oh please. Like the 'sex' in Mass Effect didn't pimp their profile at launch. Any publicity, even bad, is good especially when the hubbub is about NOTHING. You can shoot everyone or shot no one in the part and it ends up exactly the same with no effect on the story line. To me that was just inserted so people had an excuse to yak about it to create buzz. You want to be a terrorist, play CS. Jeeze!

Hype, basically. Honestly, I'd rather have them NOT include that level, and actually add more and longer levels in Washington DC. Washington DC would of been great if it wasn't so short. I also see the game moving US forces into Moscow (would be awesome) like what the US soldiers hinted to at the end of the game.

I only do PC online....but not a big fan of that genre. I have COD4 but never play it. I play COD5 online all the time.

I thought the exact thing when I first heard about the level. But then again, anyone who's played any of the last few GTA's has already massacred a good number of civilians already. Admittedly though, this is quite different.

I went the whole level without killing anyone - spent it firing above their heads. After I got "shot" at the end I thought MAYBE that affected the outcome :?

Did find it a bit distubing none the less

You should get COD5......nothing but bad guys.

If you get the PC based game I'll introduce you to hours of endless sniping and nading.

I'm glad it isn't just me!

All the Call of Duty games are always over-hyped than they should be, the only justified hyped ones is the Original, the expansion United Offense than the original Modern Warfare. Although I hated the small maps. The second one even had bigger maps and generally less players.

This new one plain out sucks, the single player was short and crappy. The multi-player sucks hardcore IMO. Nothing but running around shooting and collecting specials like missles and helicopters and just setting them off. While I admit the whole specials are very well done, like the missles. In multi-player they are rather annoying. They should have repercussions where it takes away a good ammount of score in using it. That way you don't got 12 guys shooting off missles, jets and nukes every chance you get. You can have a clean battefield with missles n stuff only as a tactical advantage when needed.

That was the problem with the first one I thought, too small of maps and jets and helicopters just spawn raping everybody. The game has some playable value but that's only because I was dumb enough to buy it. If I had known, I would never have bothered and bought something else. To each is his own opinion about the game, however if anybody is looking for suggestions as to if he or she should buy it. My suggestion is to save your money.

Okay I bought it..............but don't make me play. :?
