Why peanuts shouldn't be banned in schools

I think that that's a bad idea. Peanuts are not good many people can have allegic reactions just from touching the resiude from the peanuts. Did you know that someone at my school was rushed to the hospital because he touched his mouth after simply sitting in a classroom bitting his nails. I have a freind who's sister goes to my school and she has had to use her epipen because someone gave her a cookie after he was eating a penut butter sandwich. So if there were no peanuts in schools this kind of stuff would not happen. So what's your support of your opinion!

Yes ture but the smell does not hurt them it is residue I have seen people with the smell. The only way that could happen was if someone breathed peanut butter into their mouth now how the hell does that happen but I think that people should just keep them out of schools and none of this stuff can happen!! People will be safe!!

Yes ban everything instead of the problem. Maybe these people should go to their own school where they can all be together and hate peanuts in harmony.

I'm not left i just think that banning peanuts would help people to be safer in school plus the liberals are not stupid they just have different views but that is not to talk about here.

How is banning peanuts being a left wing nut?
If it could save some lives then why not. Doesn't make life anymore difficult for me, but makes some other kids WAY easier. Out of everyone I know, both conservatives and liberals, think that banning peanuts from school is a good idea.
What if you had a kid with a serious peanut allergy? What would you do?

You don’t see how fucked up that really is. Why should everybody change their life when it’s not them where the problem lies.
Let the problem kids go to a school where there are no peanuts and let the normal kids live life like they should.
It’s stupid to ban a substance when you can just ask the kids to goto another school.
Next we’ll see bacon on the list because muslim kids feel it’s unclean.

In our school, peanuts are banned, peanut butter is banned, because of 2 kids with an alergy. My kid is allergic to band aid and face paint. Haven't seen that banned though! What if someone paints her face while she says no? She is 8!

I am pretty sure 99% of all the parents are GLAD that the schools are respectful to those 3 students special needs. Maybe you should send your kids to another school, where the parents are inconsiderate and close-minded.
And by the way if your kid were having a BAD allergic reaction all the Epipen would do is buy them time.
Have you ever seen someone have a BAD allergic reaction? Does it bother you that much that you have to change one LITTLE thing, that could potentially save a kids life. Come on, you can't be serious can you?

Maybe you should get some balls and stick up for your rights. Problem people should be isolated and they rest can go on like normal

They do.
Two of my student's are SEVERELY allergic to nuts and I make sure they always have theres.
And you guys don't realize. These are kids we are talking about. Adults may be more aware of their surroundings but kids touch everything and often touch their mouthes without thinking twice about it.
If you guys are that pissed about it, please go to your school districts meetings and try to get it changed. You will get booed out of the room.
