Gone to the LA vs Canucks game.......

   

Canada wins it 8-0....

Canada takes 1st place in group A with a record of 3-0-1-0 giving them a total of 10 points.

   

Missed this one today but expected the win would come. Way to go guys!

   

A big day today to determine who gets to play in the medal games.

Finland-Czech
Canada-Switzerland
Sweden-Slovakia
USA-Russia


Wow... Finland-Czech are heading into OT.

   

Czech goalie finally finds some skill, bad news for Funland.

We get them after Switzerland.

   

Damn, missed the 1st period of the Canada - Switzerland game. Canada starts the 2nd period with a 3-0 lead. Drake Batherson then scores at 6:12 into the 2nd period making it 4-0.

   

Jordan Kyrou scores at 7:24 to make it now 5-0.

   

5-1 Canada after Dario Rohrbach scores for Switzerland at 8:46 into the 2nd.

   

Taylor Raddysh scores for Canada at 14:57.....6-1 Canada

   

Canada gives up a SH goal at 10:26, followed by Dillon Dube scoring a PP goal at 11:12, Canada now leads 7-2.

   

Canada wins it 8-2, advancing to the semi-final round on Thursday when the will play the Czech Republic.

USA vs Sweden
Canada vs Czech

Both should be exciting games to determine tomorrow's medal match-ups.

   

Sweden defeats the US 4-2 to advance to the Gold medal round against either Canada or the Czech Republic while the US will play the loser of the Canada vs the Czech Republic game for the Bronze medal.

   

Wow. I couldn't believe it when Sweden was up 4-0 with 2 shorthanded goals and I think that 2nd one took the drive out of the US team. Good for Sweden though as they did have a good tournament as usual.

Now a break until our game starts.

   

Oooops.....The Czechs open the scoring 5:55 into the first....

I don't think that was planned for..
